The Games - registration opens April 18th
Northern Wave's 10th Anniversary International Swimming Tournament at Manchester's fabulous aquatics centre Sept 13th, is being prepared by a team of club members in readiness for Pride Games 2008. Sponsoring organisation for this year's event include the Co-op for lunch packs and ASA officials lead by Toby Tunstall, the region's Competition Director.
Preparations for Pride Games 2008 is underway with a broad programme of over 25 activities. Building on 2007 which was a landmark year featuring new events such as a Sailing Regatta, a Big Ballroom event at a prestigious location, Athletics, a Youth Games and a dazzling Sport For All line up!
Swimming, Archery, Aquathlon, Ballroom Dancing, Men & women’s Football, Volleyball, Bell Boat Regatta, Running, Swimming, Sailing, Cycling, Athletics, Aquathlon, Water Polo, Climbing Wall, Kayaking, Windsurfing and a Youth Games.

The Pride Games Showtime Dinner 2009
Feb 2009 @ The Jarvis Piccadilly hotel (tbc)
A fabulously gay community celebration, featuring a number of special achievement awards and a variety show to launch Pride games 2009. It includes a three course meal - Sitting down 8pm. Also featured is a community photgraphy display sponsored by Pride Sports and Proud City Co-op, to raise awareness of lgb community sports and leisure groups and to encourage active citizen participation. We aim to keep the event as inclusive, fun and affordable as we can and launch Pride Games 2009 in style.
