Volunteering

There are many opportunities to volunteer to help with the running of club and events that the club organises. Often helping out is just as much fun and satisfying as competing - we often need help with:

Running of Club, planning events, organising fundraisers, delivering events, fundraising, sponsorship, swim teaching, freinds for new swimmers, door reception, web site maintenance and more.....

A voluntary committee of elected members manage the club. The posts are formally elected at the Annual General Meeting and are open to every active member of the club. The committee also quite often asks for help from members with special skills (co-opted members) to help.
